For the racer building a cackle fest type restoration engine here is a rare find that will help put your project at the front of the pack for using period correct parts instead of the new machined billet parts that just look outta place for a time period correct piece.

This is a 80's era Crower Elephant Trunk 18gpm fuel pump that will be holy grail material for a restoration project. Fuel pump was just sent into FIE and flowed and it came out swinging with 17.90gpm at 4000 rpm's. No leaks ready for header flame cackling action. Drive is industry standard .375" with 2.120" x .050" male register on the backside to register fuel pump. Mounting flange has four 1/4" bolt holes to bolt up to most fuel pump extensions.

Pump housing is cast alum. that has been anodized for wear and corrosion protection. Pump inlet is -20 ORB with a brand new -20 ORB to -16 flare fitting installed. Front cover has the big C logo that looks like you are looking thru a rifle sight. Outlet of fuel pump has an -8 ORB port with two -6 ORB ports on the side.

We are not 100% on the name of the fuel pump but we feel like somewhere we were told these fuel pumps were know as the Elephant Trunk fuel pump.

These fuel pumps in working condition are rare so if you are restoring a car that used one of these fuel pump grab it before it is to late and all you have is regret.

Fuel pump could be used on a current race engine but there are no parts available to repair this fuel pump so RBS feels it is best left for a restoration project.
