Shaft is made from heat treated steel and is 1.250" in dia. that has been rifle drilled to make it lightweight with the 1/2" ratchet provision that allows a racer an easy way to turn the motor over to adjust valves or back the motor down before firing up.
Snout housing is billet alum. and is O-ringed to insure proper seal.
Snout comes in machine finish but is available polished or anodized for an additional cost.
