This starter has twenty more percent power than any Hitachi based starter motor and is attached to a billet alum. mounting base that is offset to help clear oil pan kick outs and it has over seventy degrees of clocking in ten degree increments to help clear other parts of the race car.

Each starter is tested for amp draw as well as rotational speed. This kit includes starter gear radial alignment shims and detailed installation and wiring instructions. This is to be used with a 168 tooth flex plate.

This is designed for Hemi engine blocks that have no mounting provision for a starter. Starter gear pitch is twelve degrees. Twelve degree pitch starter is typically used with a Chevy type 168 tooth flex plate.

Recommended for engines over 500 cubic inch.
