Used adjustable steel starter frame, that's right adjustable! Someone slotted the frame standoffs 2.250" so the racer can loosen the four 3/8" bolts, slide the halves apart or together, set the jaw depth tighten the bolts and let 'er rip. Frame has a 4.00" center hole with six 3/8' bolt pattern which fits aircraft or most RCD 6.00" type starter flanges.

Frame uses a dual handle with a push button mounted close to the hand grip to give the crew chief easy access to fire up the hot rod. Frame fully collapsed is 3.50" tall, fully extended it will be close to 5.750". Frame uses three 7/16" bolts to lock onto starter plate. Handle seems to be in a place where maybe it was used on a Top Fuel Harley, to be used on a blower buyer might have to chop the handle off and re-weld it to the frame to make it more user friendly. Frame is Tig-welded and craftsmanship looks to be top quality.
