If you need to adapt large-diameter hoses, such as radiator hoses, to a component that has NPT-threaded bosses, Meziere's NPT to smooth hose adapters are right up your alley. They have a large smooth-hose nipple on one end and NPT threads on the other.

Hose adpt. has 1.00" NPT thread for with a slip on 1.250" hose barb on the other end. Hose adpt. is 3.125" end to end, made from billet alum. and has a polished finish.
