RBS is aware of the tough demands of an oil filter on a blown motor and that is why we have this cleanable Pro Series billet oil filter. The Pro Series filter is completely made from 6061 with no more cast parts or plastic filter inserts, this oil filter means business!!!
It is very easy to use as there is a 13/16" hex to spin the billet top off which is sealed by Buna O-rings then pull the filter element out and clean in solvent or brake clean and your done put back together give the top a snug and your done. The beauty of having a filter such as this it is tuning tool that allows you to look for bearing material as well as a filtering device for your engines oil.
Filter housing is made from billet alum. that has been anodized for corrosion protection and filter element is made from stainless steel wire screen that has been flow tested for up to forty gallons per minute.
Filter is sold for alch. or gas and the filter element is 75 micron but can be ordered with a 45 micron element if lighter oil is being used from the drop down menu.
Filter housing is 3.750" in dia. and 5.750" long and includes two alum. thread adpt. for different block applications. Filter is perfect for up to 60 or 70 weight oil.
If running the stinky stuff in the tank RBS recommends #2600-0051C with Viton O-rings. Threads on the filter housing is 1"-12 but comes with two alum. thread adapters for different applications.
