Oil Pump Primer Chevy Professional SBC/BBC #62205

Here is a handy tool when building a BBC/SBC engine, you want to make sure that you have oil pressure before initial startup. The only correct way to do this is with an oil pump primer.

Simple to use, drop in the distributor hole of the engine, engage the flat tang of the primer into the oil pump, hook the drill up to the .250" primer driveshaft, pull the drill trigger and spin away until you get oil pressure and precious engine blood up to the rocker arms.

Tool will last for years and lots and lots of engine builds. Tool is made with a heat treated steel shaft that is black oxide coated with a billet alum. bushings that centers the primer tool on the engine block.

Works with all large flat tang SBC/BBC oil pump drives.
