With the strength of stainless steel it allows the gasket manufacture to offer a lighter gasket than copper that can withstand higher heat loads and more abuse without sacrificing strength.
Ports are embossed so with the stainless steel will act like a bellville washer and help keep the header nuts tight and help keep the best seal between the header and cylinder head.
Gaskets are sold in pairs and ports are 2.41" x 2.00".
