RBS is proud to bring the racers the finest raised cam BAE Hemi splined crankshaft bearing support gear drive on the market. This gear drive starts off with a billet alum. cover that is machined from 7075-T6 to exact tolerances giving the motor it's best chance for accurate cam timing.
Gears are made from heat treated steel and are finish ground for complete concentricity. The gear set includes a splined crank gear that can be set up for the RCD or PSI crank spline, a idler gear that has the outer race ground into it using a high speed roller needle bearing and a cam gear that uses a 11 hole vernier to dial in cam timing. Cam hub uses a massive .625" hex shaft to drive the fuel or oil pump.
Gear drive includes a mounting hardware kit, thrust bearing and washers, woodruff keys, and adjustable timing pointer.
This gear drive is set up to be used on a raised cam BAE, CN, KB, Indy or most other aftermarket engine blocks. What makes this gear drive unique is that it houses a crankshaft bearing support right in the front cover allowing for crankshaft snout support on the number one main and providing a solid foundation for crank trigger ignition. The bearing housing uses six heat treated studs with a roller needle bearing that presses on the inner race off the crank hub.
Gear drive cover also has provisions for crank trigger ignition pick ups and a TDC pick up off the bottom of the gear drive.
