*** IN STOCK SHIPS TODAY *** For the racer that is running a blower manifold without an SFI burst panel but wants to add the safety of one, RBS carries this slick billet alum. burst panel adpt. Made from billet 1.00" alum., racer simply drills and taps two 3/8"-16 holes, cuts out a window for the discharge to escape, installs two socket head cap screws provided with the burst panel adapter plate, smear a wipe of your favorite RTV silicone across the back of the plate, or install the O-ring that is provided and install the bolts and you are done.
Plate is drilled and tapped with twenty four 10/24" thread holes that will work with industry standard SFI burst panels. If racer needs a burst panel and frame be sure to check out part number #2000-0014.
Plate measures 6.250" x 3.125" with a 3.625" x 1.625" hole in the center to let boost out when becoming to excessive. Hole is offset in the plate so it sits down below the blower surface. Mounting bolts are on a 4.450" center to center. The 3/8" mounting holes are a little to narrow to fit a Cragar intake as there center to center is 4.625" but if the racer is crafty the holes could be slotted a little and this plate would work on early Cragar blower manifolds.
Includes 3/8-16" plate mounting bolts, washers and O-ring. Finish is polished on the outside of the adapter plate.
