It is a durable gasket that is .045" thick, is a wire-core laminate giving the racer a gasket that can be used multiple times as it doesn't stick and doesn't absorb fuel or oil. It will help seal up the burst panel so the racer loses no precious boost.
JFR burst panels use fourteen bolt holes and measure 3.050" x 2.750". Gaskets are sold in a handy five pack that gives the racer one pair for the manifold and a few spares. Gaskets are designed for John Force Racing blower manifolds but could be used in custom applications if the buyer chooses.
Hussey uses compressed micropore material. It is a solvent-free, high performance gasket material. It was developed for steam, water, oil, and chemical resistance in race car applications. It has exceptional sealability, torque retention, crush and blowout resistance, and is intended for applications with short duration maximum temperatures up to 350°C (650°F).
