Injector opening is 12.375" x 4.625" on the blower surface and the workmanship inside the injector is aero flow designed and smoothed out for better air flow into the supercharger. Front butterfly plate is CNC machined and has been given a stunning weight reduction profiling without sacrificing strength. You have to see it in person to understand the extra work that was put into this part of the hat.
The hat is a front loading design so a .250" alum. plate is included to adpt. this injector to a full open injector opening but if the racer is taking off a JBR mailbox type injector and doesn't need the plate RBS will deduct $100.00 off the price.
Plate is O-ringed on the injector side for a superior seal from the injector to the plate and hardware to mount the plate to the blower is included. Injector weights eleven pounds as seen in the pictures, is 11.00" tall from mounting surface to top of injector, 19.00" wide across the front of the butterfly plate and injector sits 9.50" forward from center of the front mounting bolts.
Butterfly plate has a provision for a throttle cable bracket and a barrel valve using industry standard 1/4" mounting hardware. RBS can supply all the parts to make the injector complete at an additional cost if the racer chooses.
Injector includes everything seen in the pictures which include injector housing, butterfly shaft, butterflies, butterfly housing and alum. adpt. plate.
This scoop is designed to give more square inch area on the front of the JBR carbon fiber injector catching more air pushing it into the supercharger making the racer more boost which as we all now makes for better E.T's and bigger mile per hour.
Lip weights two pounds and in most cases has given the racer one to two pounds boost with it installed. Lip is clearanced for fuel lines going into the barrel valve. Lip measures 20.50" x 9.00" and includes grade eight steel mounting hardware with alum. anodized washers.
