The main rail is .500" thick one piece billet so it does not bend but has been CNC machined to shave off any extra weight with the addition of pressed in steel inserts so as the pan nuts are tightened up time and time again they won't dig into the pan rail. The entire pan is tig welded 3003 .100" alum. to provide superior strength and includes a set of heat treated steel oil pan studs.
This pan is available for dry sump BAE, KB, JP-1, Indy and many other aftermarket Hemi engine blocks. Included is a cam lock fastened windage tray to help keep oil off the spinning crankshaft, welded in -16 hi-flow alum. oil pick up and a -12 oil drain plug. Oil pump fitting is sold separate but can be purchased by the racer if they choose under part #2600-0062A.
Oil pan weights nine pounds as seen in the pictures and dimensions are 3" deep in the front and 5" deep in the rear.
