Double kick-out design ensures large stroke clearance, wide main cap clearance and maximum horsepower to be gained from a full length solid louvered windage tray with main cap partitions for oil control. Oil pan measures 11.00" wide across the front and back of the pan and weights twelve pounds as seen in the pictures.
Oil pan is to be used with 168-tooth flywheel combinations and two-piece rear main seal. Oil pan will fit all pre-1985 SBC engine blocks including aftermarket Dart and Merlin.
Couple more oil pan features are an ORB magnetic drain plug, two -8 AN drain back ports, six ORB plugged holes to allow oil pan fastener installation and 1/4" NPT dipstick bung on the 1, 3, 5, 7 side of the engine.
Racer will still need to purchase an oil gasket, oil pump, oil pump pick-up, dipstick and mounting hardware to make a complete set-up.
