The dipstick seals to the tube with an O-ring that secures it in place and prevents crankcase gasses from escaping. Moroso universal dipsticks also feature "full" and "fill" marks which can be used as-is, or new marks can be added to indicate your desired engine oil level.
Dipstick is 22.00" long from underneath the handle to the bottom of the dipstick. Includes a bracket to secure the tube to the engine and adapter fittings to go from 3/8" tube to 3/8" tube or tube to 1/4" NPT which most Moroso oil pans are. Dipstick tube is steel and tube as well as handle has a shiny chrome finish.
Dipstick kit does not include any instructions or diagrams so mechanical ability is a must for proper installation.
