Strange quick release steering hubs are SFI 42.1 certified. The billet aluminum hubs are a completely self-contained mechanism. The fixed steering wheels in cars can significantly go against your proper entry or exit from a race car in an emergency, this is why quick-release steering hubs come in handy.
Steering columns require hub adapters to convert the column so that it can accept a removable steering wheel. You cannot install the quick release wheel without the hub adapter. A 4130 stub shaft is furnished for ease of installation and the keyed spline allows for easy wheel orientation. Can be mounted in a Dragster or Funny Car using butterfly steering wheels with three or four bolt hole pattern.

2024-T351 billet aluminum, 2.500" O.D., 3 on 1.375" bolt circle .193" holes, 3 on 1.750" bolt circle .316" holes, 4 on .750" x 1.650" centers .193" holes, broach 10 spline with one tooth removed, black hard anodized finish.
Release Collar
6061-T6 billet aluminum, 2.480" O.D., black hard anodized finish
Weld End is made from 4130 chrome moly, 9 spline with one wide tooth, .650" O.D. tube end, .312" bore lightening hole,
black oxide finish.
