*** IN STOCK SHIPS TODAY *** RCD front cam driven magneto drive. This magneto drive was designed with the intent of using it where a large roots blower would be used or a set back roots blower where magneto clearance would be a issue on a BBC or 392/417 Donovan combination. It also works great in a Hemi Bonneville application where hood clearance is a issue and you don't want a mag 44 sticking thru your hood at 350 mph.

This drive is constructed from billet alum. with a heat treated steel shaft to drive the magneto. The shaft has a .625" male hex to be used with all .625" RCD gear drive cam hubs. The shaft is supported with a bearing to help with magneto stability and to keep everything concentric off the front of the camshaft.

The magneto is driven by a four jaw Lovejoy coupler which is included in the drive assm. to mount your MSD or Mallory magneto. Drive is 3.250" thick from cam cover O-ring surface to magneto surface. The side of the drive has two -3 ports that are drilled and tapped that come with ORB port plugs installed in them.

This drive fits RCD BBC or Hemi gear drives with .625" hex cam hubs but not SBC or SBF RCD gear drives. Cam cover uses an O-ring to seal to the gear drive cover. Magneto mounts using a billet RCD mag clamp.
