Simple to mount in a vice or can be hand held the base is made from .500" billet alum. that is anodized and included is a precision indicator that reads in .001" thousandth of an inch with over all .500" of travel.

Indicator is held with a 10-24 bolt so the tool can be disassembled and stored in a safe environment between uses. Valve tip stand will accept 3/8" or 11/32" valves and lengths between 4.50" to 5.50" overall valve length.
